War-Wandering

As some of you may know, I lost the Internet connection I was using. To be fair, it was some other guy’s connection, and I can only assume he was living in these apartments, but five other people were also using his connection, ‘cause my router saw four PCs plus Bethany’s jump on it right off. Unfortunately, since my router isn’t hooked up to a ‘Net connection (what with me not having one) all were sad.

Edit:I see now that I mentioned this yesterday. Oops.

On the bright side: after only a few hours of warwalking, I found a couple of decent hotspots near the mall. You have to be outside to get them, so I can imagine using them later in the year when the sun actually comes out. The days right now are cold and wet, so browsing is sort of a “I’m cold and still have email to respond to. Gah, rain is bad for laptops!”

Included is a picture of my soap, because it's weird.

Yesterday was orientation, so I guess it was our first day of school. The orientation itself was pretty boring, but Bethany and I met a woman from Australia. We all sat around and played DDR after about two hours of wandering around town – Oh, she showed us a ramen shop right by the school. It had good food, but guess what they had! An open hotspot! Score. – and the malls and whatnot. Somehow, people don’t seem to learn not to follow me. I wonder if navigationally challenged people have some kind of aura that says “Come with me!” or something.

Nah.

War-wandering because he fails to have a motor vehicle, such that it would be war-driving.

It smells kind of apple-ish. I didn't notice that it had the twist top when I bought it, or I wouldn'tve. Unscrewing the soap every time you want to use it is frustrating.
