日本の物価
I just bought floss and laundry soap. A two-pound box cost me $2, while 40m of floss cost me $5. That seems strange to me, somehow. Maybe next time I'll just get some twine.

That does seem odd, but yay for inexpensive laundry soap, I suppose. Floss for $5...perhaps they are using spun gold?
Nah, that was cheapest stuff, and it's the same stuff you get at the dollar store in the States.
Wow...well, I guess it is highly prized then?
Probably not as worth to mass-produce in Japan?
