That they are.

"Wait, I didn't THINK I ordered a wibble there... did I just wibble? No, the earth did. Ok."

Dunno. My ass doesn't have a seisometer.

It doesn't? Wow...that amazes me that you haven't had one of those installed while in Japan. They have all kinds of strange electronic gadgets I hear.

Actually, I thought perhaps you had heard about it on the news or something.

With how much my butt jiggles, it would constantly go off.

And I don't watch the news here, just like I don't watch it in the States. I let news filter through other people, then read up on anything that sounds interesting.

I don't watch the news much either, but when earthquakes or tremors happen where I am, I look up info on geological sites about them. Earthquakes fascinate me...at least the ones that aren't life-threatening and stuff like that.

Butt-jiggling seismology...heheh.

Thanks to Google news, it seems as if Japan has had a lot of quakes recently.
6/13/2008 7.0 NE Japan
7/24/2008 6.8 N Japan (Hachinohe)
8/20/2008 4.5 E Japan (Kanto region)
8/22/2008 5.1 E Japan (Kanto region)

I like wavy surfing feeling you get when the room wiggles. (And watch out for falling conch shells).

Fishbulb...did you experience falling conch shells? That sounds like an ordeal!
