Sleep
I'm supposed to get up in about an hour to start getting ready, but I've only slept for about an hour tonight. I've laid in bed, staring at my ceiling, listening to the rain. It actually woke me up and one point and I had to go into the bathroom to try and turn it off. Then I realized the weird dripping noise was the drain outside, and not my sink.

Sorry that you didn't get sleep. Nice to listen to the rain, though. I love that sound. Funny about the outside drain. :)
How long will you be on the Shinkansen? I love trains, and that sounds like a really cool thing to experience. I hope you have a wonderful time!

You just don't have the right kind of handle, Will. For THAT particular faucet, the handle needs to be connected to the controls for a large, orbiting mirror.

The rain didn't bother me much, really. It was just one of the factors, 'cause I kept thinking the sink was running full bore or something.
I took normal JR. I made this clear in a post that I tried to make from my phone, but it didn't go up, for some reason.
Ah. Well, getting there is the point, so I'm glad you get to go!
Sorry about the confusion with the Shinkansen. I think I misunderstood you were getting there the same as your friends, but staying in accommodations arranged by another friend.
Anyway...looking forward to hearing about Tokyo and stuffs!
