Arashiyama

Hamid leaves fairly soon, and he's one of the few people I've hung out with much while I've been here. Once he leaves, my nearest friend will be about 5 minutes away. Bryen lives next door to me, but he's a popular person and we don't mesh as well. Hamid and I are nearly opposites - he owns a pair of jeans that cost him about $220 and considers this normal - but we've gotten along pretty decently, somehow.
Reminds me, last night the lesson "Don't try to argue with drunk people" was reinforced. Apparently I had forgotten.

Anyway, we're trying to get some people to go up to a swimming area and we're going to try and have a bit of an open barbecue kind of thhing. Should be tasty, if nothing else.

Have a great barbecue and get together!

Yeah...arguing with drunk people. I've tried that before and learned the same thing, though perhaps not in the same way.

And you almost have to feel bad about tasing them over and over, what with them not being able to muster the coordination to get out of range as speedily as you can shift position.

Komitadjie...you always get right to the point, don't you. Heheh.

Except that most of them that I've been around were actually friends or family and I wouldn't have wanted to do that to them even in their drunkenness. Ah, oh, well.

Then again, most (if not all) people can't muster the coordination and strength to get out of the way faster than you're able to aim a projectile weapon, except at very, very close ranges.
... And then there are there's the fact that you only have to hit once, and just keep tazing after that.

Sorry about your friend leaving. That is always difficult. I hope you have fun at the barbecue though, and make even better, sparklier friends!
