Peanut Butter Jelly Time
I just ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The peanut butter is kind of dysfunctional and the bread is too thick and bleached way too hard, but it was decent. A little bit uncanny valley, but in terms of sandwiches.
In other news, my green pants gained a battle scar today. Calligraphy day I, for some reason, wore my only light-colored shirt and my green pants of "How old are those?" that Jes has patched up in at least two different places - which I greatly appreciaite!
I'll see about getting a picture up before I try and get the ink out of them. I'm... not optimistic, but I'll still wear them anyway. The fact that Jes has worked on them makes them very special to me somehow.
Lesson for today: Don't wear your only light-colored clothes on calligraphy day.

Uncanny valley was a term I hadn't heard before so the link was interesting...thank you.
As to the ink, the only suggestion I have is cheap hairspray, which works on ballpoint pen ink, but I'm not certain that the ink you use there would be similar or not. There are lots of places online that have recommendations for getting out stains of particular kinds. Did the teacher have any suggestions? Good luck with the green pants!
So, according to the scale of wikipediea graph (It is a valid scale...it's published on de interweb and oh so scientific...but I digress),
Whould you say you had a zombie peanut-butter and jelly sandwich? or more of a prosthetic hand?
As for the pants... Did you mean to caligraphy them? or was the table too small? Were you working on your laptop (sorry, couldn't resist).
It is good to hear you are still wearing pants. Maybe getting ink on the OMG those are old pants will inspire a change of wardrobe!
PS...to fix major ink stains, just use more ink. Then they can be the OMG old BLACK pants.
fishbulb...you are making me laugh today, which is good...I needed that!
The laptop part was particularly funny. :)
I just... you know... washed it out. With soap. And water.
The ink washed out with soap and water? Well, cool, that.
Soap and water? Sounds like ya'll are using finger paints in calligraphy class.
Wimp.
We're using india ink. I haven't actually seen the pants dry since I washed it out, so here's hoping I did.
There's a little spot that's... discolored, if you think about what the word should mean. It's not so much darker as much as slightly less green than the rest of the pants, which are slowly becoming a nice, worn grey anyway.
