Mosquitos

The mosquitos are bad enough right now that I got two or three (not sure at this point) new bites while being outside for about five minutes to hang up my newly-washed laundry and bring in the dry stuff.
Buggers.

Yeeeeeech! Mosquitos! I didn't even think about those stupid things being there for some reason.

Actually, they're particularly bad here. Normal mosquitoes leave pretty small bites, but the ones here are Asian tiger mosquitoes: about twice as big as a normal mosquito, dumber than a sack of bricks and about as fast, but with a bite that you'll feel for a few days.

Yikes! Asian tiger mosquitoes even sound bigger and more assertive. I don't know why I didn't even think about mosquitoes being there.

I am shaking my head at myself for the funny lack of concepts in my head about what kinds of things are in the rest of the world. It's not that I thought there were not mosquitoes there...it's just that I didn't really think about it one way or the other and am somehow astonished that they are there...silly me.

Hmm, #9 shot, I'd say. Get the 3" magnum rounds for the extra shot charge and pattern density.

I was thinking breaching rounds, actually.

Eh, breaching rounds are not really for that kind of thing, what with the solid lead-powder slug. I'd want something with some form of pattern to it, to increase hit percentage.

But my veranda is made of concrete, and the mosquitoes are not. Furthermore, particulate shockwave.

Actually, this guy is way past what we're talking about, though that it was accidental does make it a little less impressive... maybe.

True. The article mentioned that 80% of the house was destroyed. It didn't say anything about how many bugs remained. Heheh.
