Rain, Rain
It is raining here. I'm not kidding or exaggerating at all. Those of you that know me know that my definition of rain does not include drizzling, sprinkling, and other imitations. This is rain. I'm sitting six feet away from where it's fall and I'm still getting wet.
And it's coming straight down.
Despite that, I can see my little sprinklets of water on my laptop's screen.
It was raining decently last night, as well, and I'm sitting right next to where I was then. But last night, I made a rather moist error. See, apparently, where I had sat down was right next to the mouth of a gutter. When I sat down the ground was dry. When I put my hand on the ground to get up, there was a splash and I realized I was sitting in a puddle about half an inch deep. I don't have my camera, but suffice to say that there's a constant quarter-inch of water over all of th ground.

I know you like rain...so I hope you still like it when you end up sitting in it like that!
Where are you writing your posts from?
I don't like the rain when I'm using my laptop in it. Also, I have to admit that it's embarrassing to show up drenched because I don't have the hold-umbrella-while-riding-bike skill down yet.
I'm writing my posts from behind the mall, in a bike parking area. I think it's the daycare across the street's hotspot, but the important part is that it gives me 'Net access.
Yeah, laptops and rain don't sound like a real terrific combination, but I'm glad it works. Can you take a picture of the place? It would be interesting to see.
I could take a picture, but it's not high on the list. I usually only go over there with my laptop, and my laptop and camera bag do not cooperate well.
And it rains too much to not bring the bag, so...
